"Marketable" means that you can transfer the security to someone else and you can sell the security before it matures (reaches the end of its term).

• Treasury Bills - Terms - 4 week, 6 week, 8 week, 13 week, 17 week, 26 week and 52 week.

• Treasury Notes - Terms - 2 year, 3 year. 5 year, 7 year and 10 years.

• Treasury Bonds - Terms - 20 year and 30 year.

• Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS). Terms of 5, 10, or 30 years. 

• Floating Rate Notes (FRNs). Term of 2 Years
